Senator Hawley Endorses Prez Trump After Vague Reelection Threat

Overlooked by our local media . . . This week Missouri's senior Senator offered reassurance to the MAGA crowd after a brief moment of doubt . . .

The Missouri Republican has already said he believed Trump’s renomination by the GOP was inevitable but had not made it official. Then, over the weekend, Trump said Hawley and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) should be “very careful” in their reelection races: “Stranger things have happened.”

“President Trump doesn’t need to worry. I’m with him. He's asked me several times to support him. I said yes. And I've been saying for a year that I think he's gonna be the nominee. I support him. I'm gonna vote for him,” Hawley said. “Don't worry — you can put me down as support, endorsed, stand with.”
