Kansas City Salvation Army Stays Losing Amid Harsh Times

Amid rising inflation, the recession that corporate news keeps wanting to downplay before the election year and the specter of disease & war still lingering over the planet . . . 

It's hard to blame people for keeping cash reserves. 

Here's the local impact . . 

This year, the KC Salvation Army’s goal was to raise $800,000 with its kettle donations, a tradition spanning over 100 years.

Damon Bryant, the director of marketing and public relations for Salvation Army in Kansas City says they were $80,000 short of their goal this year, but that it’s important to keep in mind that the goal amounts increase year after year.
