Already, we've noted that Mayor Q has advocated for more affordable housing access for the area along with transit and pedestrian improvements.

Here's another quote that signals KC signing up to support yet another money losing proposition:

"Mayor Lucas' office said weekly conversations with the company have begun and will continue until a sale of the property closes.

"A timeline of when a sale of the County Club Plaza could close is not certain."
