IS ANYBODY WILLING TO ASK TOUGH QUESTIONS ABOUT REPARATIONS PAID BY KANSAS CITY BEFORE IT COMES LAW?!?
The council lady's continued advocacy is a clear sign this issue remains on the local agenda but so far there has only been a few public meetings on the topic in communities that mostly work to support the idea.
For instance . . .
The most public conversation saw a group work to ring a "civility bell" and silence any opinion that the crowd didn't like.
So maybe a public forum with a cheering section isn't the best place to talk about an idea that continues to move forward despite serious questions about how these historic financial rewards will be enacted.
