
This recent gathering was mostly unreported but still deserves a look as some of the most dedicated social justice advocates in KCMO use language about an international conflict that's mostly out of the mainstream . . .

Organizers said decades of irresponsible US policy had contributed to the current crisis, which the US is deepening by arming Israel’s war against the civilian population of Gaza and obstructing efforts in the United Nations to end the war. "

Seek peace in the Holy Land
Thirty persons came to the Dec. 14 vigil, "Peace in the Holy Land," expressing sorrow over deaths and destruction in the Mideast and praying for peace. The tiny flags gave the name/age of children killed there, some 0 years old (not yet one).
