Deadly 2023 Kansas City Car Crash Spike Kills 100 So Far

Overnight crash reports from Kansas City Police reveal another danger on local streets confronting locals.

"AIS responded to meet EPD Officers on a confirmed fatality collision. Initial investigation revealed that a black KIA Rondo was traveling southbound on Cleaver II at a very high rate of speed. Just before Elmwood, the KIA traveled off the road to the left, traveling through the grassy median and striking a large tree. The unrestrained driver and sole occupant of the KIA was pronounced deceased at the scene. This is fatality #100 compared to #84 at this time last year."
