
The "trend" of worsening brick & mortar profits is now a fact of life as local merchants aren't seeing any bump in sales whilst recession looms and the world remains at war.
However . . .
Here's the trend that locals are missing . . .
It's easy to blame the Internets but historic & deadly violence in Kansas City might also contribute to Christmas shoppers staying home. The holiday season started with gunfire at Independence Center and Oak Park Mall and since then local homicides & shootings have continued to add up.
And so . . . Rising Kansas City crime isn't making it any easier to make a buck in this cowtown.
