Activist Research Proclaims: Kansas City Doesn't Need Another Racist Jail

Currently . . .

The Kansas City Alternatives to Incarceration Commission is still conducting community meetings and offering several sketchy quotes that aren't ready for prime time.

The "discourse" is mostly anti-white & anti-police vitriol that's kind of a quasi-2024-campaign-rally wherein these same folks are going to be asked to vote for some middle-class white lady from Nowhere, Missouri because she's "one of the good ones" . . . Still . . . Let's get away from politics for a moment and talk science . . .

Right now we share data driven research from online scholars which CLAIMS TO PROVE that the upcoming KCMO jail is racist . . . Even before its built.

Check-it:

"The report’s authors relied on outdated assumptions to predict growths in its jail population, misleading graphics, and a “lock ‘em up” approach to public safety, leading to a skewed outcome that ignores the societal harms of mass incarceration. Of particular concern is how this jail project will harm the Black residents in Kansas City; Over two-thirds of the people currently held in the city jail are Black, even though Kansas City is only 27% Black."
