My 2023 End of Year Report

Hello Neighbor,

Thank you so much for your strength, resilience, and determination over the last year.

As 2023 comes to a close, I'm proud to share with you a report of all the work my office was able to accomplish for Missouri's Fifth Congressional District over the past twelve months.

Here is just a brief summation of some of the achievements I'm most proud of:

* Recovering $3,732,581 in federal benefits for Missourians across the Fifth District through constituent advocacy, including savings for Missouri veterans and seniors on Medicare.

* Securing $320,532,797 in federal funding for critical infrastructure projects, community programs, and government services across our congressional district.

* Introducing 28 bills and cosponsoring 344 other pieces of legislation to lower housing costs, strengthen Social Security, boost public safety, implement long overdue prison reforms, and more.

* Delivering 21,528 responses to constituent inquiries and opinions to relay my stance on everything from expanding affordable healthcare to protecting investments in essential programs like Head Start, Meals on Wheels, and public education.

With the new session of Congress quickly approaching, please know that I will continue working to expand opportunities for Missouri families of all backgrounds and in every community. I believe strongly that when Congress invests in hardworking families and American small businesses, our communities see tremendous returns--which is why I've proudly supported legislation like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, CHIPS and Science Act, Honoring Our PACT Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
