Progressives Give Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids Free Pass On Israel Ceasefire Demands?!?

Recently Congressman Cleaver was pressured to make a clunky statement on the current war in Israel.

However . . .

NOTICE PRO-PALESTINE CRITICS PASS OVER REP SHARICE DAVIDS WHEN IT COMES TO TOUGH QUESTIONS ABOUT U.S. ECONOMIC AID FOR ISRAEL!!!

Politically . . . This isn't fair given that Rep. Davids is actually in a tough spot. She's more closely aligned with Prez Biden and never really became a member of "the Squad" because she's not as progressives as so many of her East Coast friends.

To be fair . . . Without a competitive challenger these questions might not resonate much with most voters who have already made up their mind.

In the meantime . . . Arguments over hot war in the Holy Land continue to take their toll on both Republicans and Democratic Party leaders alike . . . However, the progressive slap fighting is far more entertaining . . .

"It’s clear that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is driving a rift into progressive, liberal, and Democratic Party ranks that may be as deep as the one caused by the Vietnam War. Whether it will be as lasting as the divisions of the ’60s remains to be seen. What is clear now, however, is that the political consequences this time around may be much more severe."

Democrats clash over conditioning aid to Israel

Sen. Bernie Sanders called for a significant drawdown of the war in Gaza in exchange for aid.

Republicans Have an Antisemitism Problem. The Democratic Party Doesn't.

The rise of radical anti-Israel and pro-Hamas protests have obscured the fact that antisemites on the left have an oppositional relationship with the Democratic Party, while antisemites on the right are increasingly welcome within the GOP.

Republicans face risks in picking off voters disaffected with Biden over Israel

Republicans see an opportunity to take advantage of the divide between Democrats on Israel - but not by direct appeals on the war to these voters.
