Lee's Summit Volunteers Demand Better Highway Trash Cleanup

These suburbanites are not only working to save the planet BUT ALSO encouraging MoDOT to do a little better when performing maintenance . . . Check-it:

"The past few weeks, they have noticed mowers have multiplied trash. They want city and state leaders to keep trash and mowing contractors more accountable to make sure they pick up trash before mowing. Even more, they want long-term solutions to reduce the amount of trash landing on the side of highways."
