We've offered more than our fair share of criticism against a racially charged blog that made a rookie mistake by hyping a serial killer story that never gained any traction because the "sex dungeon" angle was too nasty to talk about in polite company  . . . However, in fairness, their Internets sleuthing offers perspective into suburban drama that local news skipped over. 

Here's the basics of their coverage . . .

"The incident unfolded last week when Bre nonviolently confronted a white female student for using racial slurs and calling Black students “slaves.” After their argument, they peacefully parted ways. However, as they were walking away, a male student, previously uninvolved, aggressively shouts for Bre to “Shut the F*ck up!” Numerous student witnesses appear surprised and appalled, and Bre responds by asking what did he say. The male student then charges towards Bre while repeatedly hurling the N word. "

This story involves youngsters . . . 

There are legit questions about involving youngsters in politically charged culture war issues that have the potential to impact their future . . . However . . . The Defender blog delving into high school politics/drama is only so useful in order TO BETTER INFORM PARENTS about the challenges they might confront.

YOUNG MEN SHOULDN'T HIT YOUNG WOMEN. EVER. IT'S A DOUBLE STANDARD THAT WE'LL ENDORSE UNTIL OUR DYING DAY!!!
