Kansas City Icy Roads Threaten Drivers Despite Mayor Q Assurances

Again . . . Every snowfall we're confronted with the same debate from City Hall that deflects criticism of management and 12th & Oak priorities.

NOBODY IS CRITICIZING SNOW PLOW DRIVERS . . . COMPLAINTS ABOUT BUSTED ICY STREETS ARE DIRECTED AT MAYOR, COUNCIL & CITY MANGER!!!

Sadly . . .

Every year the Mayor of this town hides behind Public Works employees like human shields attempting to dodge legit criticism about the lack of service for "side streets" i.e. most local streets.

However . . . This passage tells us that Mayor Q's effort to declare an early victory ahead of this latest snowfall might be misguided . . . Check-it . . .

"Now that the sun is out, the Kansas City area is warming up and roads are thawing, but some sidestreets that haven’t been treated or plowed may still be slushy. Later tonight, the slush is likely to refreeze as temperatures drop so be cautious when driving."

Either way and no matter which politico you support . . . Drive carefully this evening . . .
