Clay County Silent After Royals Stadium Guesstimates Skyrocket

For Sunday sports fans we have a simple observation confirmed by our friends working in local media. 

There are two parts to our assertion/reporting/AWESOMENESS and both are undeniable . . .

NOTICE CLAY COUNTY STADIUM ADVOCACY SUDDENLY SILENT AFTER EPIC BUDGET PROJECTIONS!!!

There hasn't been any new ad campaign and we notice that politicos have lost a bit of their bluster. 

And then . . . 

OPEN SECRET: CLAY COUNTY CAN'T AFFORD TO FINANCE FOUR TO SIX BILLION BUCKS TO SUPPORT KANSAS CITY ROYALS STADIUM ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT DREAMS!!!

Sorry . . . But that's a tough sell for this enclave and at that price we'll start to see fiscal hawks turn on their leaders who only want to thwart the "Democratic stronghold" at a budget prices.

Now is the time for Clay County to put their money where their mouth is and, again, we haven't heard much out of suburban cheerleaders lately when the home team price tag has ALLEGEDLY more than doubled.
