Ms. Squitiro is an "author" who has been trying to sell this same book idea for about a decade. The premise . . . She's the politically savvy "people person" who thrust her hapless hubby into power only to have it come quickly crashing down because of corruption . . . And not the ineptitude of this power couple. 

Meanwhile . . . Former Mayor Funkhouser attempted to stick his nose into KC politics this year by way of a rigged Citizens Association panel that mostly served as a trick to distract local elderly people.
