Kansas City LGBT Theater Safe Space Debuts

We love local creative endeavors and we're always glad to feature new players.

However . . .

We're pretty sure that MOST local theater is LGBT friendly . . . Maybe with the exception of a few backwoods Bible camp productions  . . . Either way . . . Here's the pitch for a new dramatic cowtown concern . . . 

"Kansas City’s theater scene should be a safe and comfortable space, said the producing artistic director of Whim Productions, detailing his effort to specifically provide a place where queer voices can not only feel heard, but celebrated."

This Kansas City theater company is creating space for 'the next generation of LGBTQ playwrights'

Whim Productions, an LGBTQ+ theater company with a performance space on Prospect Avenue, exclusively presents works from queer playwrights with narratives that center around the queer experience.
