Kansas City Chiefs & Patrick Mahomes Suffer Flu Or Worse?!?

The official excuse for an embarrassing loss to the Denver donkeys is that Paddy was playing sick.

However . . .

That doesn't explain poor performance against the run and an overall lackadaisical outing from just about the whole team.

And so . . . Again . . . We Ask . . .

HAVE NFL DEFENSES FIGURED OUT PADDY MAHOMES & HIS FLU MIGHT JUST BE SYMPTOMATIC OF DEEPER FLAWS WITH THE TEAM?!?!

Here's a peek at the dilemma . . .

"Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was not feeling well with illness, had his worst game of the season and one of the worst of his career, throwing two interceptions with no touchdowns. Mahomes was playing through the flu after being a late addition to the the team's injury report, according to multiple reports.

"Mahomes reportedly even had IVs administered, so he could get the proper fluids that would allow him to play. But it wasn't enough for him to be effective against Denver's defense."

An evenhanded analysis . . .

"The issues against the run — along with committing five turnovers and an illness bothering Mahomes — were main reasons why the Chiefs lost to the Broncos for the first time after beating them 16 straight.

"As their schedule stiffens — starting with this weekend’s game against the Miami Dolphins in Germany — the Chiefs will have to shore up their run defense."
