Courthouse $300-MILLION Counteroffer For Downtown Royals Stadium: Doomed

This story isn't really serious so we didn't rush to share it . . . 

The real news is that this offer is A LONG WAY FROM ONE BILLION BUCKS THE ROYALS WANT and it's kind of a slap in the face. 

As we noted previously . . . Exec Frank seems like the biggest impediment to this deal and that's not completely a bad thing.

Under the proposal, the county would pay $15 million a year for 20 years, which would add up to $300 million.

"Well, I don't want to get into the real specifics of the negotiations. That what we gave to the legislature was for confidentiality reasons, and so I don't want to get in and try to break it down at this point," Democratic Jackson County Executive Frank White said.
