Warning: New KCI Offers Marathon Walk

We like this review for a couple of reasons . . .

The author does his best to hide contempt for the miserable experience and instead hopes to convey information to close readers. . . AND he frames his tacit criticism in a consideration of history and change that often skews our perceptions. 

Basically . . . 

TRAVELERS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO 'GET IN THEIR STEPS' AS NEW KCI REQUIRES LONG, QUIET WALKS!!!

For most that's not such a big deal . . . Still, for those with mobility issues . . . The walking requirement is a consideration that shouldn't be overlooked. 

Here's a worthwhile review that's more informative than so much local hype and favor trading with our persuasive public relation experts . . .

Modernity was supposed to conquer all sorts of ills, one of which was walking. We built homes with attached garages. We built strip malls with parking right out front. And we built airports whose organizing principle was minimizing walking.

The new Kansas City International Airport has plenty of walking, which, by the way, affords you ample opportunity to buy souvenirs and smell the barbecue of the restaurants, and so spend lots of money there.

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The newest large airport in the country is right here, smack in the middle of America. Aviation nerds get excited about new airports, and the algorithm on Google News decided I was an aviation nerd because I wrote a few pieces about flight etiquette.
