New Kansas City Airport 'Pass-Through' Discrimination Alleged

Actually and for clarification . . .

The classic "pass-through" gambit is an old KCMO scam and the allegation taints most major, local construction projects. Some people dispense with formality and just call it a "front" for the sake of brevity.

Here's a snippet of court deets attempting to explain yet another alleged Kansas City Shuffle . . .

"A spreadsheet put together on Oct. 18, 2021, by Andrea Dorch, then head of Kansas City's Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity Department, showed Tycon had 160 active contracts underway with the city at the time. (Ms.) Williams claims Tycon essentially was being used as a “pass-through” entity for those contracts because Tycon and its employees performed none of the work. Williams said the work was performed by the Tysons without her approval as majority owner of Tycon. She said Kansas City paid the Tysons instead of Tycon and used Tycon’s designations toward meeting minority and women participation goals."
