Kansas City Scribe Decries Police 'Deference' To Elderly White Man After Black Teen Shot

A garbage take offers a preview of an upcoming trial now confronting the metro and the nation.

CHECK THIS KANSAS CITY STAR SCRIBE ATTEMPTING TO REHASH RACIALLY CHARGED RHETORIC AMID THE TRIAL OF AN ELDERLY SHOOTING SUSPECT!!!

The argument is sophomoric and it's still hard to believe this lady almost won a Pulitzer.

Here's the crux of her debate that ALMOST realizes the ridiculousness of her screed . . .

"So am I implying that the cops who arrived at Lester’s Northland home on April 13 of this year should have thrown the octogenarian on the ground? No. But I am saying that if more suspects were handled with such deference, well, to state the obvious, a bunch of dead Black people and also quite a few folks suffering from a mental illness would still be alive. "

Okay . . .

SO WHAT IS SHE ADVOCATING?!?! ROUGHING UP THE OLD CODGER A BIT SO THAT HIS TRIAL WOULD BE TAINTED?!?

This isn't a column, it's not even a decent social media post . . . This kind of screed represents the newspaper giving up on opinion & analysis and instead joining the mob of protesters powered by emotion rather than any semblance of understanding about law, politics or culture and how it impacts our world.
