HEDC Honcho Soon To Be Exposed Just Like Fake Mexican Aliens?!?

We have a bit of barrio gossip to share but only because we wanted to go back and pick up that headline about the tiny Mexican aliens presented to the global media yesterday.

From our vantage . . . 

Given that there so many very real, tiny Mexican & Central American aliens in grocery stores across the metro. We're kinda surprised they needed to invent imaginary galactic interlopers. 

Sadly . . .

Yes, the Mexican space invaders were phony.

Phony in much the same sense that many of our ultra-right-wing pals still don't like to admit that a few miles of border fence doesn't really provide a solution when global corporations supporting BOTH MAJOR AMERICAN POLITICAL PARTIES demand cheap labor that's in short supply in the States. 

Punchline: 

The economy is global and India doesn't care if your grandkids have to learn Spanish to get a better price on affordable hot tub installation. 

But I digress . . .

Back to barrio news . . .

It seems that a beloved HEDC leader has been caught in a bit of controversy that's soon to go public. The downside: Everybody knows him and regards him as a nice guy.

If you follow Kansas City news, it's likely that you've read his name given that he has a higher civic profile than so many other Latinos who struggle to find professional work that doesn't involve bringing somebody a beverage. 

Real talk . . .

I think the guy was nice enough to stand up for this blog in a community meeting not so long ago. So we really don't want to celebrate his impending hard times given ALLEGED sexy controversy that has embroiled the local agency. 

Still . . . Close news watchers might read more deets from a far more boring news outlet whilst our most dedicated TKC blog community denizens will remember that they saw it on TKC FIRST and were forced to wade through our inane observations about space aliens in order to glean the tawdry fact.
