The Kansas City, Missouri, City Council voted on a resolution Thursday expressing their desire for the Royals to remain in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jackson County Executive Frank White Jr. appears to have not aggressively advocated for a new $2 billion baseball stadium and ballpark district for the Kansas City Royals. But a recent letter he sent to team CEO John Sherman shows him pointedly pushing the team to choose Jackson, not Clay, County.
