Here's the thing . . .

TKC also things fighter pilots are cool and we admire their bravery. HOWEVER, most modern wars employ the skills of FAR MORE drone operators than flying aces.

Consider . . .

The Prez make threats of "over the horizon" strikes against American enemies.

Accordingly . . .

We probably shouldn't forget about that drone strike that killed all those kids in Afghanistan and pretty much put the Taliban on notice that the U.S. was willing to take a PR loss on our departure but nothing more serious.

Nevertheless . . .

Airshows aren't for discussions of foreign policy or deadly tech . . . They're really fun events wherein locals are encourage to feel good about American dominance of the sky and our security . . . Which is actually a nice way to conclude Summer.
