FORMER JACKSON COUNTY LEGISLATIVE CHAIR DAN TARWATER REFILED HIS CAMPAIGN FINANCE PAPERWORK & NOW STANDS AS CANDIDATE FOR EXEC!!!

This is a significant move for a few reasons . . . 

- For many people, Dan Tarwater was the first choice to challenge Exec Frank White for a 2nd term. 

- It was only low voter turnout and dark money that led to a close defeat of Mr. Tarwater  in the KCMO 6th District. 

- Given that there's an investigation of the Courthouse by the Missouri Auditor and renewed public outcry amid the Property Tax Assessment hot mess . . . This preemptive move signals that INSIDERS DON'T HAVE FAITH IN THE STAYING POWER OF THE EXEC.
