City Attorney Seyz: Prairie Village Zoning Petition Allegedly Conflicted

Many denizens of Perfect Village don't have any confidence in their local blog and feel that a lot of housing coverage is biased.

TKC has earned a bit of consideration from this nicer enclave if only because we dream of one day living in a glorious ranch house, drinking martinis and listening to old Bossa nova records whilst our beloved urban core burns . . . Or maybe we just got a preview of our death rattle. 

Either way . . . Here's legal beef over zoning push back that hopes to thwart apartments full of scumbags who don't know how to love this part of the metro the right way . . . From afar . . .

"If one petition is approved and another is denied, then they could yield contradictory results, according to Prairie Village’s city attorney . . . The fate of the petitions lies in the hands of the Johnson County Election Office, which Prairie Village’s city attorney said, is the final authority on determining the legality of two of the measures for the Nov. 7 general election."

City Attorney David Waters said the legal analysis of the Prairie Village petitions circulated this summer concludes the petitions should be invalidated.
