Waldo was once a wonderful working-class enclave until high crime, horrible design choices and rampant neglect have chased away many residents.

Given an all out assault on the Country Club Plaza by developers, activists and practitioners of political violence along with fading retail & COVID . . . The Plaza has suffered rampant decline.

This is what Mayor Q didn't seem to understand when he joined protesters in 2020 chanting "no justice, no peace" and arguing against police.

Shooting near Country Club Plaza Saturday leaves one man dead

Officers were dispatched just before 12:00 p.m. on reports of a disturbance in the 4600 block of Liberty. While en route, officers received word the call was updated to a shooting.
