Kelly Urich Shares Anger & Community Healing After Tragic Metcalf Crash Killed Teen

One of Kansas City's most beloved radio personalities shared a personal story of grief this morning with his fans who continue to follow his latest social media musings.

Kelly Urich has considers the aftermath of a deadly car crash on a busy stretch of road in Overland Park.

A quote from a public FB post . . .

"Today I’m angry. The young man killed a week ago in that horrific accident on Metcalf was our next-door neighbor.  He comes from an amazing family.  Just good people. I picked Will & Ally up from school hundreds of times. They played video games and we threw softball and frisbee between our homes.

"The thing I will always remember most was that piercing smile. And he was always smiling. We would laugh & joke on our way home from school. He was always positive. It’s like a light has been turned off and the entire neighborhood is hurting. I’m proud of our neighbors coming together. The group texts are difficult and extremely caring."
