Kansas State Senator Mike Thompson Warns Against U.S. Destruction By Renewables

It's not like we totally disagree . . . But our 2nd favorite TV newsie turned politico is forced to dive head first into hyperbole in order to gain attention . . .

Here's the word from the Kansas State Senator . . . That basically claims that illegal immigrant wind turbines are coming to chop up your poodle . . . 

"The current narrative is that we must replace fossil fuels with renewables to save the planet. This is a great article that shows how we are helping our adversaries by trying our increasing dependence on wind and solar. One thing that this article fails to mention is the fact that you MUST HAVE fossil fuels to make wind and solar possible on the grid. They cannot exist without power from coal, nuclear, and gas. So we are adding massive costs to operate the grid by creating a parallel non-dispatchable renewables generation fleet that will never be able to be used as true base load. We are not only making our country vulnerable to the Chinese, we are also going to bankrupt every day Americans with energy bills that will skyrocket if we remain on this path much longer. Germany is already there and their electric rates are 10 times higher than ours.  Wake up America!"
