Lindsay French beat her opponent Jenay Manley, a KC Tenants Power-endorsed candidate, 52% to 48%.

There is nothing not to like about this lady and she actually knows people North of the River . . . So that's a plus.

The campaign against her was cynical and focused on a "MAGA MILLIONAIRE" rather than any real issues.

Thankfully . . . The smear tactics didn't work and Manley's anti-police defund campaign was JUST A BIT TOO MUCH for Kansas City votes. 

To be fair . . . The margin was closer than what we expected but neither one of these candidates are much to write home about . . .
