The trans community doesn't trust political assurances . . . We don't blame them. 

It's smart to be skeptical of what politicos say . . . However, that same apprehension should also be directed against progressive "allies" who have used so many people in distress as rhetorical props in order to gain ground for the super-minority Democratic Party in Missouri.
