Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids remains on Republicans’ target list in 2024, though GOP strategists are well aware they’ll need a new nominee with fewer ties to unpopular former Gov. Sam Brownback and believe such a candidate is about to jump in. But given Davids’ popularity and fundraising capabilities — not to mention Donald Trump’s poor standing with the district’s highly college-educated electorate — it will be a tall order.
