Kansas City Summer Tradition Returns 2023: Gunshots OR Fireworks???

Once again Summer heat and the ongoing murder crisis spark a scary tradition to return to local streets and households.

Longtime residents should be accustomed to this pastime that offers plenty of unwanted excitement.

WAS THAT GUNSHOTS OR FIREWORKS!?!?!

In 2023, fireworks sales can legally begin in Missouri starting June 20 through July 10. In Kansas, there’s a smaller window: You can only buy fireworks from June 27 to July 4.
