Kansas City Seiden's Fur Building Saved

Our social media chums got this one wrong . . . OR maybe they were just trying to start a panic by way of misinformation.

Either way . . . Here's a bit of good news for local history buffs . . .

"Chris Sally of Iconic Development put the 149-year-old Seiden's Furs building at 935 Broadway under contract on Tuesday. Just five days earlier, on June 8, the city stapled a notice outside, advising that officials would seek bids to demolish the years-vacant structure and assess the costs against its owner, Dan Shaffer. "
