Kansas City Double Take On Justin Short

Now, here's the thing . . . 

I want readers to understand where I'm coming from here . . . 

TKC doesn't endorse candidates, we don't have "a ballot" and TKC only serves to share the most interesting silly season items that come across our wayward path given that every other media outlet in KCMO either doesn't cover hyper-local politics OR wants to push their own agenda.

However . . . 

As election bickering ramps up . . . We want to drop this tidbit and then step out of the way . . .

Accordingly and posted only because Justin Short's mom is being a meanie via social media and she mistakenly thinks that grownups don't notice . . .

This social media note is gaining traction now that the KCMO vote is only one week away. In fact, a few of our readers have either sent this our way or basically expressed the same sentiments.

Here's the word . . .

"A lot of people up here have noticed this Justin Short kid's flippy flopping. North of the river he's proudly endorsed by FOP.

"South of the River you'd never guess it. North of the river he's appointed to a "city commission."

"South of the river he's a proud member of the LGBTQ commission."

"North of the river he's been endorsed by the Realtors Association."

"South of the river he tried hard & failed to fool & attract the KC Tenants. "

"It says a lot about how he views himself and our city."

"If you stand tall for nothing, you will vote short for everything!"

Ouch.

Now, that last part was kinda rough and, obviously, just the opinion of the writer.
