Here's the follow-up conversation that has inspired most voters to tune out and give up on local politics.

In this round we're looking for politicos and pundits to: 

- Blame "Republican Gun Laws" and claim the Missouri GOP Super-Majority have blood on their hands even though they're hundreds of miles away from Prospect & the East side . . . And most Missouri suburban areas are PACKED with guns and don't suffer this same kind horrific homicide crisis. 

- Imagine that "Local Control" and more input from nincompoop council members will help this crisis. 

- Nag that freebie Summer activities for urban youth might stop adults from partying into the late night.

- Garner social media attention with a pointless political crusade or yet another tragic vigil.

- Offer vaguely racist conclusions and "politically incorrect" accusations i.e. totally unproductive ideas and unworkable "solutions" that will only serve to land your drunk uncle in Facebook jail. 

Meanwhile . . . 

More skilled denizens of the discourse will notice the years-long battle betwixt Mayor Q, the police and the prosecutor's office has taken a devastating toll on police/community relations whilst violence escalates. 

Even better . . . 

People who actually listen to police or look at a bevy of social media comments will learn about illegal modern-day speakeasy parties around this section of Prospect . .  

Bingo . . .

For the win . . . We're certain that SOMEWHERE (in council chambers) there's an argument that reparations for slavery might solve this conundrum.
