Johnson County Sheriff Hayden Still Working To Solve 2020 Election Mysteries?!?

Forgive our snark . . . This is good news . . . Apparently all of the other crime in this part of town has been solved. 

To be fair and note that this "news" is really just politicking . . . We really do enjoy the Sheriff staring down his critics and offering appropriate answers to silly questions.

We reached back to pick up this story but it's worth a peek for those who might've missed it . . .

The questions from Commissioner Janeé Hanzlick happened during Thursday's Committee of The Whole meeting focusing on department budget presentations for 2024.

Hanzlick told Johnson County Sheriff Calvin Hayden she's been receiving questions from the community about the cost of his ongoing investigation.

"I don't know if there's anything here or not, but I can't say no until we get that data and prove it," Hayden said.

"Your focus is still on the 2020 election?," Commissioner Janeé Hanzlick responded.

"Yes we are," the sheriff stated.
