Cashill Challenges Political Politeness As Kansas City Homicides Surge

In one of his finest columns, conservative Jack Cahill takes Kansas City political traditions to task and demands change in the status quo.

 There's a great deal of altruism in this post and that's why we're so impressed. 

Jack Cashill obviously has a great deal of affinity for Kansas City, MO and it's clear that he wants this town to avoid the fate endured by broken cities like Baltimore, Detroit, etc. 

The political reality . . . Neither conservatives nor progressives will be able to navigate the future without some INTENSE discussion.

As always, there's more to consider from Mr. Cashill but for now we'll check the main point . . .

"There is, however, a point at which politeness becomes a liability, a point at which politeness smells very much like fear. Unfortunately, we have reached that point.

"The power corridors of Kansas City are today paved with eggshells. Everyone knows this, but no one will say so out loud, let alone do anything about it."
