More detail via a tweet from Activist Justice Horn . . ."The Kansas City Council has just introduced a resolution making Kansas City a Sanctuary City for Trans folks receiving gender-affirming care.
"With gender-affirming care still being legal in the state of Missouri, this resolution would codify those rights into city law.
"This legislation has been assigned to the Transportation, Infrastructure, and Operations Committee. There will be a public hearing Wednesday, May 10th at 9 AM on the 26th floor of City Hall.
"This is a chance for the community to show up and testify—Be there if you can."
