"According to David Cook, president of UFCW Local 655, there has been a surge in interest to unionize in the cannabis industry, after Amendment 3 passed in November. Dan Viets, the state coordinator of Missouri National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws, said the fact that recreational marijuana is not legalized at the federal level does not have an impact on individual groups joining unions within each state."
