Students protest after Shawnee Mission teacher criticized 'woke' curriculum

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Students walked out of class on Wednesday, protesting a Shawnee Mission North High School's criticism of mandatory diversity training. Those students are met by a counter protest - supporters of that teacher - who contends teachers are forced to attend mandatory Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training, and to program students with left-wing politics.
