Olathe school board disciplines member accused of outbursts
OLATHE, Kan. - Olathe Public Schools' Board of Education is punishing a board member for acting out in meetings. Several members say Brian Connell has been disruptive and broken decorum during meetings. The board voted to remove Connell from his committees by a vote of 5-2.
Olathe School District board censures 'disruptive' board member
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Olathe School District's Board of Education voted 5-2 to censure one of its members at a special meeting Tuesday. The passage of the resolution Tuesday formally censures Brian Connell (Board Member, Position 6), removes him from all committee assignments and bars him from leadership positions "until further notice."
