The top ranking conservative sports talker in Kansas City packs his latest show WITH A BEVY OF USEFUL INFO that should satisfy his many fans here's the money line . . .

Target has lost $9 billion in market value since angry social media users called for a boycott of the Minneapolis-based retailer over its rollout of the "PRIDE" collection featuring LGBTQ-friendly clothing for children. A week ago Wednesday before the controversy erupted, Target's stock closed at $160.96 a share, giving the big-box chain a market capitalization of $74.3 billion.

Activist and right-wing host Charlie Kirk nakedly incited viewers to use "force" and "pain" to punish Target over their Pride collection - which activists like Kirk have waged a campaign of threats and falsehoods against. Target is the latest focal point of anti-trans hate after the company offered a Pride collection that was inclusive of trans people, which anti-trans activists then lied about.


Target giving in to conservative pressure on Pride is not a great sign

Pride Month is upon us. It's a time to celebrate and defend LGBTQ equality and rights. It's also a time for corporate America to lean in on the rainbow branding, to let the queer community know that they're with them - or at least they would like them to think they are for the month of June.


'BudLighted': Target is latest to face boycott calls over support for the LGBTQ+ community

Pride Month hasn't officially begun but corporate brands from Bud Light to Target are already taking fire over marketing and merchandise celebrating the LGBTQ community. Called "BudLighting," the strategy is to crush so-called rainbow capitalism by branding companies as "woke" and calling for boycotts over everything from Adidas' gender-inclusive swimwear to a North Face marketing campaign featuring drag queen and environmentalist Pattie Gonia.
