Here's the word . . .
"I just paid my KCMO water bill and found KC has found a new way to gouge customers. If you're paying with a credit card, you get charged 2% of the bill plus 25 cents. So if your water bill is $100, it costs an extra $2.25 to pay with a card. It would be cheaper to use a stamp and send a check, which would also be a lot more work for Water Department personnel."
