In the Kansas City area, these five Tuesday Morning locations are set to become the latest big-box retail vacancies:

    901 NW O'Brien Road in Lee's Summit
    14950 W. 87th St. in Lenexa
    5320 Martway St. in Mission
    8038 W. 151st St. in Overland Park
    9606 Nall Ave. in Overland Park

The discount retailer, which carries a mix of housewares, apparel, toys and seasonal items, began going-out-of-business sales Saturday at all 200 Tuesday Morning stores in 25 states.

Tuesday Morning will close 5 more KC-area stores as it shuts down - Kansas City Business Journal

Tuesday Morning Corp. is going out of business after a liquidation company agreed to buy the business, and it has begun closeout sales at its 200 remaining stores, including five in the Kansas City area. A judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas approved the sale of the home goods retailer to Hilco Merchant Resources.
