A move to renew a Kansas City sales tax for public transportation could result in a new train project between Kansas City International Airport and downtown.On Wednesday, a city council committee decided to look at placing that tax renewal referendum on the November ballot instead of the August one."Our goal is to make sure as many people as possible can go out to support what is a fairly important issue, the future of public transportation in Kansas City.
