Kansas City Plans To Loot Parks & Rec?!?

Insiders want our blog community to pay attention as more and more cash continues to be siphoned away from this town's most beloved resources.

INSIDERS FEAR KANSAS CITY TARGETING PARKS & REC NOW AND IN THE FUTURE AS THIS TOWN GROWS DESPERATE FOR MORE CASH!!!

That COVID money is running out fast and here's a quick word about the future . . .

"Look closely . . . When we're talking about revenue streams and allocations. Parks is continually on the chopping block and it has the potential to make Kansas City look even worse. If voters want to know the REAL reason why Parks & Rec has come under attack . . . As always, it's about the money."

- Right now there are only 3 Parks commissioners . . . The Mayor has learned quickly, he doesn't like sharing the spotlight and he doesn't want any disagreements.

- The price for staying out of recent charter changes . . . More "flexibility" when it comes to budget allocations. Expect this to grow worse going forward. 

- Sadly . . . Council dude Eric Bunch isn't prioritizing parks funding in the 4th District as the Mayor's team wants to focus more resources on the East side along with more Northland amenities. Behind the scenes, 4th District residents who complain are being told to think about future fundraisers.

And so . . . 

Parks & Rec and so much public space is an old school treasure of KCMO and it might prove to be a battlefield going forward.
