Kansas City police: 2 shootings happened in span of 20 minutes of each other

Two shootings happened in less than 20 minutes in Kansas City, Mo., late Thursday afternoon. Police said the first happened at 4:45 p.m. at 31st and Wayne. Just over 15 minutes later, police investigated a shooting at 35th and Troost. Both victims are expected to survive, according to police.


KCMO man charged in shooting Wednesday night in Lee's Summit park

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City, Missouri, man is accused in a shooting Wednesday night that injured three people at a popular Lee's Summit park. The Jackson County Prosecutor's Office charged Antonio Harris, 25, with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. The gunfire happened at about 10:30 p.m.


Kansas City man sentenced in federal court for armed robbery of pizza delivery driver

A Kansas City man was sentenced to 12 years and three months in federal prison for his involvement in an armed robbery that turned into a shootout with police. A federal judge sentenced Samuel M. David, 20. David and his sister, Rochelle E. David, were charged with robbing two pizza delivery drivers.


KCPD looking for man who hasn't been heard from since May 3

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is looking for a missing 28-year-old man who hasn't been heard from since May 3. The police said that Timothy Blake last had contact with his family that day and that his last location is unknown.

Harris, 35, was last seen that evening in the 9800 block of Wornall Road. At that time, he was wearing a black coat, black t-shirt, gray sweatpants and gray Reeboks.
