Kansas City Country Club Plaza Celebrates 100 Years: Will It Last Another Century?!?

Tonight we pose a tough question to readers . . .

DID KANSAS CITY SOCIAL JUSTICE PROTESTERS DOOM COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA'S FUTURE?!?!

To be fair . . .

It wasn't so much the outcry for social justice that hurt the plaza but the riotous mobs, looters and criminals who latched on to progressive protest without any resistance from left-wing organizers who tacitly condoned destruction with their silence.

Long ago . . . We MISTAKENLY believed a few youngters hanging around, stealing and starting scuffles would imperil the district.

But then . . .

2020 demonstrated that racially charged protest/uprising accompanied by Mayor Q chanting "No Justice, No Peace" was far more dangerous than a few brats with parents too poor to afford a babysitter.

Don't worry there's still more blame to go around . . .

Developers have also preyed upon the district with a myriad of sketchy schemes that tear away the history of the neighborhood.

Even worse . . .

There's still AN EPIC HOLE in the middle of the district wherein no anchor tenant will tread.

And so . . .

100 years in . . . Things aren't looking so bright.

Of course . . . We'll share a more optimistic take for balance . . .

“We’ve been honoring the Plaza’s 100th anniversary in many different ways over the past year, and this time around we are focusing on showing the community our heartfelt appreciation for the ongoing patronage and support,” Country Club Plaza General Manager Breana Grosz said.

Either way . . . It has been fun and we look forward to your predictions.
