We're not certain if we 100% accept excuses from some of shoddy cable company that has been soooooooo bad, they had to change their name and now seem to be confronting a myriad of outages.

Here's a rhetorical gambit that hopes customers hate junkies more than their cable company:

Communications companies believe the lines are cut by thieves who believe they can steal copper from the cables. The fiber lines do not contain copper and have no scrap metal resell value.

Anyone with information about the person or people cutting the cables is asked to call the TIPS Hotline. There is a $17,000 reward offered for information leading to an arrest in the cases.
